As a Technical Writer, you will translate complex technical concepts into easily digestible and engaging user guides, API documentation, and FAQs. **Your Mission as Our Technical Writer** * Dive deep into our product architecture and collaborate with our engineering, product, and support teams to gain a thorough understanding of our technologies. * Craft comprehensive and user-friendly technical documentation, including user manuals, API references, troubleshooting guides, and release notes. * Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect the latest product features and enhancements. * Work with our development teams to understand what documentation needs to be prioritized and created for each software release. * Solicit user feedback and data to optimize documentation for effectiveness and usability. * Help develop a long-term documentation strategy aligned with the future product roadmap. **What Sets You Apart** * A background steeped in technical comprehension, with a knack for distilling complex data into layman’s language. * Prior experience with documentation standards and technologies (e.g., Markdown, Sphinx, Read the Docs). * A meticulous eye for detail and the tenacity to see documentation through to completion. * Experience with a content management system. * Excellent project management skills; must be adept at time management, workflow prioritization and goal setting. * Great interpersonal communication skills with the ability to develop solid working relationships. **Your Foundation of Knowledge** * A bachelor’s degree in technical communication, computer science, or related discipline is preferred. * A portfolio demonstrating an exceptional grasp of technical writing concepts.
